Collaborators

I completed my graduate studies at the Podos Lab at UMass Amherst. Jeff Podos and I continue to collaborate on projects focusing on vocal performance.

I conducted a research project examining neurophysiology of swamp sparrows
(one might call it a near-doc) with Dr. Luke Remage-Healey. Luke is a professor in the Neuroscience and Behavior Program at UMass Amherst.

My Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship at William and Mary involved research and teaching, where I was sponsored by Dr. John Swaddle.

During a quick postdoc, I’ve been collaborating with Drs. David Luther and Liz Derryberry working on cultural evolution in white-crowned sparrows.

I was recently awarded the Smithsonian Institution Postdoctoral Fellowship for which I will be collaborating with Drs. Brandt Ryder and Peter Marra at the Migratory Bird Center.

I have continuing collaborations with Dr. David Lahti, which focus on vocal performance in the wild and in the lab. David was a Darwin Fellow postdoc at UMass when I was a graduate student, and now he is a professor at Queens College CUNY.

Dr. R. Haven Wiley was my undergraduate advisor at UNC Chapel Hill. We conducted research in amazonian Peru, which formed the basis of my senior thesis and a recent publication. Pictured to the right are many Wiley students and collaborators.
